Jammu, March 21: Senior IAS officer of Jammu and Kashmir-AGMUT cadre Sushma Chauhan has been promoted to the post of Joint Secretary in the Home Ministry. Chauhan, A 2009 batch officer of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre, has previously held several important administrative posts in Jammu and Kashmir, including Deputy Commissioner Jammu. Prior to this appointment, she was posted as Director in the Home Ministry.
