Anantnag: About three dozen families have become homeless after a massive fire (Jammu Kashmir Fire News) broke out in more than 20 houses in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district. A gas cylinder also exploded at the spot.
Officials said that a fire broke out in a house in Gajinag area of ​​Kadipora in South Kashmir district and it quickly spread to nearby houses. The fire spread rapidly in the densely populated area due to the explosion of some gas cylinders.
Officials said that timely evacuation with the help of police and other security forces as well as local people saved lives, but many buildings were burnt to ashes in the fire. According to information, the fire extinguishing operation continued for several hours at night and after a lot of hard work the fire was brought under control.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that immediate relief and rehabilitation measures are being taken to help the affected people. on its official handle said, “Due to the massive fire in Anantnag, many houses have been burnt down and people have been rendered homeless.
