Arms, Ammunition Recovered In Uri Sector In J&K’s Baramulla

Baramulla, Feb 5: The security forces on Wednesday claimed that they recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from a forest area in Anganpathri, Uri Sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Official informed that the recovery was made during a joint operation conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Indian Army.Jammu travel guide

The arms and ammunition were concealed inside a hollow pine tree and wrapped in a blanket, they said. The recovery includes AK-47 rifles 03, AK magazines 11, AK rounds 292, UBGL 01, UBGL grenades 09 and Hand grenades

Following the recovery, a case has been registered under FIR No. 07/2025 at Police Station Boniyar, Baramulla and further investigation is underway.
