IYDF donates blankets, sports kits at SOS Home
Jammu, December 15: NGOs are playing a pivotal role in transforming society through their selfless service and community-driven initiatives.
This was stated by Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta while addressing a gathering at SOS Home, Balgram-Channi Rama, Jammu, during a humanitarian aid event organized by the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF).
Kavinder Gupta, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, lauded the IYDF for their commendable efforts in supporting underprivileged children by donating blankets and sports kits. He emphasized that such initiatives not only bring immediate relief but also inspire a culture of compassion and community service among the youth.
The event, which witnessed enthusiastic participation, featured an engaging entertainment program organized by Varun Gupta, Regional Head of IYDF, and his team, bringing smiles to the children at the SOS Home.
Kavinder Gupta praised the dedication of the IYDF team and urged more organizations to come forward and contribute towards societal development. He highlighted that collective efforts by NGOs and individuals are crucial for shaping a better future for marginalized sections of society.
The program was also attended by Sunil Prajapati, State President BJP OBC Morcha, who participated as the Special Guest, along with Ram Pal (District President OBC Morcha Jammu South), Yousuf Teli (Vice President OBC Morcha), and Rakesh Thakrey (General Secretary OBC Morcha). The dignitaries joined hands in encouraging the children and applauding IYDF’s humanitarian mission.
President of Balgram, V.K Raina, along with other office bearers, extended their gratitude to IYDF for their thoughtful gesture and commitment to youth development.
