Mortal remains of Harsh arrives from Pak to India for final rites

Jammu 27 July 2024: – In a poignant testament to international cooperation and humanitarian compassion, the mortal remains of Harsh, a 22-year-old resident of Jaurian, have been repatriated from Sialkot, Pakistan, to his grieving family in India. This delicate operation was conducted under the vigilant oversight of the White Knight Corps of Indian Army, who ensured the dignified return of Harsh to his homeland.

On June 12, Harsh went missing in the Bakor area of the Jaurian division. After an intensive search and rescue operation, it was with heavy hearts that news arrived of Harsh’s body being discovered in Sialkot, Pakistan, a month later. The tragic discovery was promptly communicated to his bereaved family, setting into motion a series of heartfelt and high-level efforts to bring Harsh back home.

Recognizing the profound grief of Harsh’s family and the importance of human dignity, the Crossed Swords Division of the White Knight Corps in collaboration with various other governmental and humanitarian entities, orchestrated the repatriation of Harsh’s mortal remains. This mission, imbued with deep respect and solemnity, highlighting the shared humanity that transcends borders.

Today, Harsh’s family expressed their gratitude to all the agencies involved including Indian Army, as the mortal remains of their beloved son is ceremoniously handed over to them for final rites.
