In the e-governance conference being organized for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir, the officers from across the country were given the message of Modi’s model of technology-based good governance. There should be no absence of the government and the effect of the government should not be visible.
Addressing the officers of various states and union territories of the country gathered at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Minister of State in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh has said that Prime Minister Modi’s model of good governance is a sustainable model of good governance. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new model of good governance has been implemented in the country with the mantra of maximum good governance, minimum government, which aims to implement technology-based citizen-centric good governance to make life easier for the people. It is the result of the e-governance of the Modi government that two hundred crore rupees are being saved on the Darbar move in Jammu and Kashmir. We are not changing our thinking but technology is changing. Transparency and accountability should be increased.
Addressing the inaugural function of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the 25th National Conference on e-Governance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Vishwavidyalaya, Katra, Dr Jitendra Singh said that the main objective of good governance is to make life easier for the common people. He said that the Modi government has used information technology in every aspect of good governance, which has promoted inclusive development in all sectors and is providing better facilities to the common people. Jitendra Singh said that India can become self-reliant in true sense only with better coordination between research scholars, academicians, industry and startups.
