GOOD NEWS FINALLY
It was said by and large by many prominent personalities in J&K that the terrorism is on its last leg and sooner than later the UT will be freed from the scourge of terrorism. What was averred in the last over one or two years seems to become a reality as DGP JKP Dilbag Singh has announced that the number of active terrorists in J&K has been reduced to two digits. Although talking about the presence of foreign elements indulging in terrorism in J&K, he said that the active elements are miniscule meaning that the mission which was taken up by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to root out terrorism is about to be achieved and the UT is soon going to be the top tourist destination of the world. The handful of terrorists whether the locals or from outside the country are being tracked down and it is just the matter of days when the final announcement could be made in this regard. Now is the time that the government should take extra care and remain vigilant against any unscrupulous element because the Northern Command chief Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi has said that around 300 terrorists are present in Jammu and Kashmir, while 160 others are waiting on the launch pads for an opportunity to sneak into this side from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan. As the anti-terror operations are going on and very soon active terrorists will be eliminated making it very difficult for the dormant ultras to become active. The only issue left for dealing strictly is of hybrid terrorists because it has been a challenge as the handlers across the border had been luring the young boys by giving weapons and the lists of targets. It is really imperative to handle this new threat of hybrid terrorists and also to plug in gaps along the border to ensure that no terrorist can successfully sneak into this side. As the terrorism is down, it is now the duty of all to oust this scourge once and for all to revive normalcy and allow people to lead a life full of opportunities.
