ROOT OUT TERRORISM
The BJP government led by PM Narendra Modi has adopted a multi-pronged strategy to end the over three decades long turmoil in the Union Territory of J&K and under such conditions one thing which is playing a vital role is showing doors to the employees having terror links, running drug cartels and supporting the terror organizations in carrying out violent attacks. In this context, just after the decision of the government to give forced premature retirement to 36 tainted and dead-wood cops for their involvement in corruption and criminal activities, the people sitting at helm have now shown doors to five employees of different departments for their involvement in terror activities and narcotics smuggling. This is the befitting response to the anti-nationals and it is solemn duty of people at helm to find out all such cases and terminate each one of the employees who is in one way or the other is denting the interests of the country while sitting at the post offered by the government to work for nation building and ensuring good for the country. The situation in J&K is grim as this is not the first time that such kind of action has been taken by the government because earlier also scores of employees have been dismissed from the jobs due to their involvement in anti-country activities. It is good that the government is making efforts to detect and weed out terror elements within the system as many people having dubious backgrounds were allegedly given opportunity to join services as employees through backdoor entries by successive regimes. It is good that the government along with strict action against the terror mongers by asking the security forces to remain on front foot is also taking care of elements which despite being the part of the government remained loyal to the disloyal and were acting like termites by compromising the interests of the country on various terms. The government needs to take minute look at things and give no excuse to anyone in context with rendering services in government departments and side by side aiding terrorism in one way or the other. The action taken against the aforesaid five employees and many others in the past is appropriate and therefore the same should be continued for others having akin background to root out terror from the soil of J&K.
