The big announcement with regard to trains running between Kashmir and other parts of the country from next year has been shared by none other than LG Manoj Sinha himself during an event in Srinagar. The train to Kashmir would fortify country’s defence capabilities to the level next as strategic logistics could be ferried directly from anywhere to Kashmir without any hassle or difficulty. Besides, the trains to Kashmir will change the entire spectrum of tourism in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The trains from across the country will provide another platform to Kashmiri artisans to market and sell their products on board and the transportation of horticulture produce which saw lots of hurdles this season due to frequent and irksome blockades on NH 44 will a get a facility of uninterrupted shipping on the rails. Tourism of course will see the sea change as railways will provide an economical option to one and all in the country to reach the paradise on earth without any problem of changing transport modes. The facility will also help the security forces to reach their destinations in the Kashmir region with much ease thus helping the country to have more strong defence line along the borders. Looking into the records, trains are the first love of travelers in India and the same reaching Kashmir without any break is wonderful news giving an opportunity to all future visitors of Kashmir to feel ecstatic and contended. The hard work behind this job of setting up rail network in the difficult terrains of the J&K including tunnels and bridges cannot described in words as this is beyond explanation and for this railways deserved kudos. As this is now a dream for every Indian to reach Kashmir on trains, the need of time is to keep fingers crossed as very soon the concerned authorities will declare the date and time, which will be written in the annals of history with golden ink. This all has been accomplished only because of dedication and strong resolve of PM Narendra Modi who is inspiration behind all the development which the J&K UT is witnessing day in day out.
