A Border Security Force (BSF) sub-inspector posted on the India-Pakistan border committed suicide by shooting himself at the post. Officials said that in the morning a jawan reached Ramdev Singh’s room. During this he was covered in blood. He also had a gun lying nearby. Officials said Singh was posted in the 12th Battalion and was commanding a BSF platoon. Police investigation and BSF Court of Inquiry is being conducted to ascertain the cause of death. Ramdev Singh was a resident of Sikar district of Rajasthan.
