Five educational institutions of Jammu and Kashmir have featured among the 100 best institutions in the country in the ranking list released by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). IIM Jammu ranks 36th amongst Institutes in Management and NIT Srinagar 66th in Engineering.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Vishwavidyalaya (SMVDU) has secured 16th position in Architecture category, which has registered a great improvement from last year’s ranking. The University of Jammu and Kashmir has been included in the 100 best universities of the country.
Jammu University has got 56th rank. Last year the university was ranked 66th. Kashmir University has got 53rd rank. Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has congratulated the teachers, students and all the stakeholders of the institute for their excellent performance.
