ARSON UNJUSTIFIED
Any protest in the country, state or the UT is totally unjustified if the protestors indulge in arson, loot and violence because the moment these components become parts of the demonstration, the entire movement becomes illegal because come what may, no citizen has a right to damage public property, loot it or vitiate atmosphere through acts of arson. It is unfortunate that presently the country is facing the anarchy at the hands of few unscrupulous elements indulging in violence and damaging the public property in the name of protests against the newly launched scheme by the Centre marking certain changes in the recruitment process for the armed forces under the name Agnipath. One can easily understand that the situation is misused by certain political entities by misleading the youths, who are craving for job avenues and a better future. There has been gigantic level of arson, vandalism and violence in many parts of the country and the situation is still volatile in many parts as youths on behest of political parties are taking law into their hands thus putting thousands of countrymen into deep trouble as the grave losses have been inflicted on Railways property, public transport, and other public utility edifice in the name of protests against the Agnipath scheme, which in actual seems to be the all benevolent initiative of the government for the youth as well as the country as the move will likely to strengthen country’s defence and also provide an opportunity to the young lot to lead a life full of pride and liberty. The government should take cognizance of the ploy designed to foment trouble in the country through such violent protests and catch hold of those who are instigating the youth to take law in their hands as arson and setting ablaze public property is not at all the way to place a point before the government. In this context, Railways has cancelled nearly 371 trains originating from different locations thus making the life of countrymen difficult without any fault. Similar problems are being confronted by those who travel by buses as in many affected areas unruly protestors have set on fire buses and other means of transport also. This kind of behaviour is not at all justified and therefore law implementing agencies including police of different states and CAPFs should act tough to restore all services and allow people to live a normal life.
