COUNTRY STANDING WITH HM
The assertion made by Home Minister Amit Shah has the support of the entire country as people are standing shoulder to shoulder with him to root out terrorism once and for all. There is no doubt that the terrorism is the biggest form of human rights violation and action against terrorism cannot be contradictory to human rights. Under earlier dispensations, terrorists were given tacit support and that is the reason behind so much of devastation in the country as the Home Minister Shah has rightly said that terrorism is the biggest curse for the society and if there is any country which bore the maximum brunt of terrorism, it is India. The action against terrorism as far as J&K is concerned is of the top order as everyday numbers of terrorists are being eliminated in various encounters. Take the case of today itself, two dreaded terrorists which are suspected to be foreign mercenaries have been neutralized in Jammu outskirts after the security forces got an input about their presence in Sunjwan area. Similarly, in Baramulla encounter the security forces have shown doors of the other world to three terror mongers thus making it amply clear that under PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, terrorism will not be allow to spread its wings. The zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism is the best policy and the centre should take all possible measures to root out this scourge from the country. The action taken by the Modi government to root out terrorism has shown positive results and that is the reason that sleeper cells, over ground and those who morally supported this path of violence are slowly and gradually coming out and facing the law of the land. Those who used to fund terrorism are also on radar by the effective initiatives of the Modi government and that is the reason that many of them are now languishing in jails as NIA’s inception in J&K has taken them to task. In this context, the citizens should come forward and share every bit of information, intelligence and other data among law enforcement agencies to check terrorism, crime and criminals.
