J&K POST ART-370 END
Though many entities in J&K wanted to prove that Article 370 was good for the people of J&K but the matter of fact is that this constitutional provision hindered the development of J&K for over 70 decades and forced the people to think and act on one line that J&K minus Article 370 will bring storm of catastrophes. Article 370 has been used by parties like National Conference as an alibi to suit their convenience at the cost of the interest of a common Kashmiri as the change after August 5, 2019 has cleared all the clouds of doubts which NC, PDP and even Congress used to encash to make the people fool on different counts. The PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti used to say that end of Article 370 will alienate all Kashmiris but on the ground after the historical decision of BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi on abrogating Article 370 things remain intact in Valley and contrary to last Chief Minister of the erstwhile state of J&K’s assertion the people have shown faith in the working of Government of India and majority of population is happy with the changed scenario in J&K. The newly turned UT has been witnessing colossal changes as far as development is concerned because the day the Modi government has taken over the reins of the country J&K is not looking back and is traversing through a time where every day comes with new announcement, completion of a ongoing project, languishing projects pacing up towards completion, every sector being rejuvenated and the people joining hands with security forces to eliminate those who want to spoil the environment here by sustaining gun culture and separatism, which has now become a thing of the past. Earlier, bidding adieu to political ethics, the plank of many of the regional parties in J&K was to polarize society by exploiting religious sentiments to garner support but after BJP coming to power at centre people have been made aware of this fact that the onus to marginalize these parties solely lies on them by understanding their ploy to divide people to have political mileage. It can be hoped right now that the people will select the pragmatic part in the coming time and support that party which is working for the development and the national integration.
