Vaccination: The government is considering giving a precautionary dose of corona vaccine.

The government may soon allow a precautionary dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for those traveling abroad for education, employment, sports and attending official or business events. Official sources said discussions are also going on whether passengers taking booster doses should take the dose at private immunization centers and pay for it. Right now healthcare and frontline workers and people over the age of 60 are being given a precautionary dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
In view of these, the Health Ministry is actively considering allowing booster/precautionary doses of the COVID vaccine for those who wish to travel abroad for jobs, admission to foreign educational institutions, participate in sports tournaments. Huh. No official instructions have been issued in this regard by the Union Health Ministry so far. Dose prioritization and sequencing will be based on completion of nine months from the date of second dose administration as per extant guidelines.
