GOOD GOING
The way the government is tackling terrorism in J&K especially in the Valley, the days are not far when the region will become terror-free as day in day out terror mongers are being eliminated and also apprehended and there are more areas which have become peaceful unlike earlier situation wherein terror infested areas used to outnumber the former. There is no doubt that peace is returning fast to the Valley and people out there are showing more inclination towards BJP government’s policies and plans to ensure development and peace. With the concerted efforts of the government especially the security forces including the police, the situation is becoming better and better with each passing day and the residual terrorism, which is currently left in the Valley as top terrorist commanders have been eliminated long ago, is also on its last leg and that is the reason behind coward acts these remaining terrorists are committing like killing unarmed civilians or throwing grenades. In this context, terrorists lobbed a grenade towards a naka party in Rainawari resulting into injuries to six cops and one civilian. This is latest modus operandi which has been seen in the Valley these days but police on the other hand is going really strict against terror mongers because yesterday only it has busted a grenade throwing module and arrested four terrorist associates. What is encouraging is the fact that four hand grenades have also been recovered and major tragedies which these explosives would have caused were also averted. There is no doubt that in the last over three decades of terrorism in the Valley cops have never shown such kind of dexterity and valour in nabbing the terror-mongers. This mainly is due to the government decision of giving full powers to cops in containing terrorism. Unlike the time of other dispensations wherein anybody and everybody used to come and indulge in stone pelting in Kashmir, under the Modi Government things have changed drastically as stone pelting has gone extinct and locals have started behaving as never before. This is a good change and one can say that ground has been set for return of complete peace in the Valley.
