Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public meeting in Kauhar, Amethi targeted the Gandhi family. He said that the Gandhi family cheated Amethi by citing relations and grabbed the land of the poor, while the BJP did development works worth Rs 1500 crore in the district. He said that in Amethi, the BJP has got roads, medical colleges, schools and bypasses constructed. The people of opposition do the politics of familyism while the double engine government of BJP works for development. Prime Minister Modi was addressing a joint public meeting of four assembly constituencies of Amethi district and five of Sultanpur district at the ground at Kauhar in Gauriganj, ahead of the fifth phase of polling on Thursday.
Prime Minister Modi claimed that the people have given full support to the BJP in all the four phases of the elections. On March 10, the family members will come to know that votes are obtained on the basis of development work done for the poor. The poor is saying that the BJP government will come again in UP. PM Modi said that the family members do not know what is happening on the ground. They come here and want to increase their power by winning elections and rule the people like a king. Whereas our strength is not bahubali and mafia but people. The politics of vote bank and familyism has done damage to the country. It has stopped people from moving forward. Vote bank politics is a compulsion of familism.
