HC quashes detention order of three
JKUT (Jammu), December-13-2021-( JNF):- Justice Tashi Rabstan of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court quashed the detention order of three namely Ghulam Din, Mohammad Zahoor Wani and Ali Hayder who were detained under PSA by the order of District Magistrate Rajouri.
While quashing the orders bearing Nos.DMR/INDEX-04 of 2021 dated 20.05.2021, DMR/INDEX-01 of 2021 dated 20.05.2021 and DMR/INDEX-02 of 2021 dated 20.05.2021 by District Magistrate Rajouri, after hearing Adv Sheikh Altaf Hussain for the detenues whereas Govt Advocate Bhanu Jasroita for the UT, observed that this is a clear case of non-supply of relevant material to the detenue, to prevent the detenue from making an effective representation against his detention and quashed the detention orders and directed to release the detenues forthwith, provided they are not required in any other case.
