The grievance projected by the petitioner in this petition is that an FIR against Swaran Singh Salaria bearing FIR No.4/2011 for commission of offences under section 467, 468, 471 and 420 RPC was registered in the Police Station. Reasi on 06.01.2011. The Police Station, Reasi after concluding the investigation submitted a closure report before the Court. He submits that since then the investigation is pending and is moving at a slow pace. The allegation of the petitioner is that the investigating officer is going slow because of the influence of Swaran Singh Salaria.

Court after perusal of the same, it is apparent that a letter stands written to the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu for obtaining original PRC issued in favour of the alleged Swaran Salaria as well as the details of the then issuing/verifying authority after investigation of the case would be finalized. This is the third status report filed by the respondents in which the investigation is yet to be completed.
