Jammu, September 08 : A high level delegation of Jammu Kashmir NPS employees united front led by its UT President Mohd Ashraf accompanied by UT Vice President Raman sharma, UT Advisor Neetan kalyan, UT IT Cell Incharge Sushil Sharma called on JKBJP Leader Shri Rajeev Charak in his chamber office and submited a memorandum of demands.
The main issues were discussed by the delegation with Kr. Charak were as follows :
1. Implementation of Old Pension Scheme instead of New Pension Scheme in favour of officials who have been appointed after 01-01-2010.
The delegation also discussed that NPS is not a favourable scheme as compared to old pension scheme .
At the verge of retirement OPS Employees got huge amount with interest on amount deducted from their salary. Moreover in NPS Such type of provision is not applicable.
2. Implementation of pay scale in Jammu and Kashmir Union territory at par other Union territories like Delhi, chandigarh etc.
NPS employees united front UT President requested Shri Rajeev Rajput Charak to represent their case to Higher authorities for implementation of old pension scheme, and continuation of GPF accounts of NPS employees and revised Pay Grade of Jammu and Kashmir UT as same to other UTs.
Shri Rajeev Rajput Charak Sr. BJP leader listened the delegation Patiently and assured the deputationist, that he will submit their charter of demands /Memorandum with his recommendations to Hon’ble Home Minister of India for further course of action & redressal.
The UT President and his team thanked Shri Rajeev Rajput Charak BJP Leader, formar State Vice President JKBJP & Incharge Good Governance & Centre State Co-ordination Department JKBJP for listening the issues patiently and assuring their early redressal.
