DC Kathua approves 3159 applications under Ladli Beti Scheme
KATHUA, JUNE 28: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rahul Yadav today chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee to review the progress being made under the ‘Ladli Beti Yojna’ here at DC Office Complex.
ADC, Kathua Atul Gupta (holding additional charge of PO ICDS Kathua); Chief Medical Officer, Kathua Ashok Chaudhary; Child Development Project Officers of Kathua District, Officers of FCS&CA and District Treasury were also present.
A total of 3159 Cases were proposed and put before the Committee for approval. The committee scrutinized the forms and approved all the cases of eligible candidates.
While speaking on the occasion, the DC asked the concerned officers to work in synergy to provide benefits of Laadli Beti Scheme to the maximum number of eligible persons. He said district administration is laying focused attention on extending the benefits of individual beneficiary oriented schemes offered by different departments to all eligible and deserving candidates.
For effective implementation, the DC called upon the concerned officers to widen and intensify public outreach programme under Ladli Beti Yojna.
