28 April : In Jammu and Kashmir, the situation is becoming increasingly serious with Covid. For the first time in the state on Tuesday, 3164 people were found infected in a single day, of which 1030 are from Jammu division and the remaining 2134 are from Kashmir. In the last 24 hours, 28 more people died. GMC Jammu has the highest number of 10 deaths. The active cases have increased to 22283 in the state.
The death toll in the state has reached 2197
