JAMMU, Mar 11: Former MLC Ch. Vikram Randhawa inaugurated a jewelry shop by the name of M/S Yuvraj Rattan Jewellers at Charak Chowk, Channi Himmat area of Gandhi Nagar assembly segment along with Kulbir Charak. The newly inaugurated showroom displayed the latest trends in modern jewelry and also the traditional design.
On this occasion, Randhawa congratulated the owner namely Gurpreet Singh and said that the youth Singh has taken a step towards becoming Atmanirbha (self-reliant) by opening the work. Atmanirbhar Bharat, which translates to, Self-reliant India or self-sufficient India is a term used by Prime Minister Of India Narendra Modi in relation to economic development in the country. The term has been used in relation to making India a bigger and more important part of the global economy, pursuing policies that are efficient, competitive, and resilient, and being self-sustaining and self-generating. Atmanirbhar Bharat does not mean “Self Containment” isolating away from the world or being ‘Protectionist’. The Phrase has been used by Govt. in relation to union budget, 2021 said, Randhawa.
The principles that the government has come up with recently budget are new opportunities for youth, expanding new possibilities. He also said that an entrepreneur is a job giver instead of a job taker and adds value to the economy of the country. He further appealed to the youth to take advantage of the various Atmanirbhar schemes launched by the Modi government.
