10 MORE PATIENTS DIE OF CORONA; TOLL 1730 IN J&K

With the 10 more patients died due to Covid-19 infection, the tally mount to 1730 in Jammu and Kashmir. 4 patients died from Jammu division and 06 from Kashmir Division.
However, with the 431 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 253 from Jammu division and 178 from Kashmir division, have been reported today thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 107330. Moreover, 495 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 220 from Jammu Division and 275 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 107330 positive cases, 5357 are Active Positive, 100322 have recovered and 1651 have died; 566 in Jammu division and 1085 in Kashmir division.

 

The Bulletin further said that out of 2856746 test results available, 2749416 samples have been tested as negative till November 24, 2020.
Till date 771134 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 19528 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 5357 in isolation and 48738 in home surveillance. Besides, 695860 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 22513 positive cases (including 84 cases reported today) with 1381 Active Positive, 207204 recovered (including 119 cases recovered today), 408 deaths; Baramulla has 7277 positive cases (including 18 cases reported today) with 446 Active Positive, 6671 recovered (including 53 cases recovered today), 160deaths; Pulwama reported 5016 positive cases (including 19 case reported today) with 162 active positive cases, 4768 recovered (including 09 cases recovered today), 86 deaths; Kulgam has 2582 positive cases (including 03 case reported today) with 65 Active Positive, 2467 recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today), 50 deaths; Shopian has 2308 positive cases (including 03 case reported today) with 62 Active Positive, 2209 recovered (including 11 cases recovered today) and 37 deaths; Anantnag district has 4509positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 126 Active Positive, 4306 recovered (including 20cases recovered today), 77 deaths; Budgam has 6744 positive cases (including 16 cases reported today) with 293 Active Positive and 6352 recovered (including 26 cases recovered today), 99 deaths; Kupwara has 5090 positive cases (including 14 cases reported today) with 513 Active Positive, 4496 recovered (including 12 cases recovered today), 81 deaths; Bandipora has 4350 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 173 Active Positive, 4127 recovered (including 05 cases recovered today), 50 deaths and Ganderbal has 4116 positive cases (including 12 cases reported today) with 225 active positive cases, 3854recoveries (including 17 cases recovered today)and 37 deaths.
Similarly, Jammu has19966 positive cases (including 122 cases reported today) with 574 active positive cases, 19100 recoveries (including 125 cases recovered today), 292 deaths; Rajouri has 3384 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) with 97 active positive cases, 3238 recovered (including 05 cases recovered today), 49 deaths; Ramban has 1869 positive cases (including 18 cases reported today) with 113 active positive, 1738 recoveries (including 20 cases recovered today) and 18 deaths; Kathua has 2696 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today) with 71 Active positive, 2590 recovered (including 02 cases recovered today), 35 deaths; Udhampur has 3359 positive cases (including 37 cases reported today) with 377 active positive cases, 2939 recovered (including 59 cases recovered today) and 43 deaths; Samba has 2391 positive cases (including 17 cases reported today) with 157 Active Positive, 2205 recoveries (including 00 cases recovered today) and 29 deaths; Doda has 2984 positive cases (including 14 cases reported today) with 182 active positive cases, 2749 recoveries (including 05 cases recovered today), 53 deaths; Poonch has 2382 positive cases (including 11cases reported today) with 76 active positive, 2284 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today), 22 deaths; Reasi has 1424 positive cases with 70 active positive, 1345 recoveries and 09 deaths while Kishtwar has 2370 positive cases (including 16 cases reported today) with 194 active positive cases and 2160 recoveries (including 00 cases recovered today) and 16 deaths.
According to the bulletin, among the total 107330 positive cases in J&K, 10615 have been reported as travelers while 96715 as others.
The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.
The bulletin added that there are 1306 COVID dedicated beds, 1170 Isolation beds with 1002 vacant beds and 136 ICU beds where 77 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 2345 COVID dedicated beds, 2197 Isolation beds where 1725 beds are vacant and 148 ICU beds where 115 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are total of 3651 COVID dedicated beds, 3367 Isolation beds with 2727 beds vacant and 284 ICU beds with 192 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
