Former MLA Dina Nath Bhagat quits BJP was not taken on board to nominate DDC candidates

 

Udhampur Senior BJP leader and former MLA from Chenani Constituency of Udhampur District Sh Dina Nath Bhagat quit BJP Party in protest against fielding unsuitable candidates for District Development Council elections in the Udhampur district in general and Chenani Constituency.

In particular “Submitting the resignation from the basic membership of BJP Sh Bhagat stated that he was quitting BJP against the decision of the party high command for giving mandate to unsuitable and incompetent candidates for District Development Councils (DOC) electrons in District Udhampur Pertinent to mention here that Sh Dina Nath Bhagat and his whole dynasty has remained associated with BJP since long Sh Bhagat joined BJP in 2003 and served as District Vice-President for 3 years and District President for 8 years Enunciating on the defeat of BJP candidates in BDC elections in Udhampur district in general and Chenani Constituency in particular Sh Bhagat said that neither he nor other senior leader of the party from the district were consulted to nominate candidates for DDC. Udhampur He flayed BJP high command for giving mandate to those who have always worked against the party interests during the previous elections He added that the wrong choice of BDC candidates was the root cause of party’s defeat in BDC elections
