On 26-10-2020 In continuation of sports festival week, Doda Police organized “Run for Unity” from District Police Line Doda to Ganpat Crossing Pul Doda.
Number of civilian as well as security forces including J&K Police participated in the run for unity. Those who attained first, second & third position are as under:-
- Rakesh Kumar S/O Dalip Singh R/O Dessa. (1st)
- Sandeep Singh S/O Bharath Singh R/O Bhagwah (2nd)
- Nitan Singh S/O Yashpal Singh R/O Dessa (3rd)
The participants were awarded with appreciation Certificates with suitable Cash Reward and Trophies.. Those who attended the function Run for unity, includes, Sh. Raj Kumar JKPS, SP (Ops.) Doda, SH. Mohd Ayaz Mughal District Education Planning Officer Doda, Sh. Neel Kant Dy. Commandant SSB Doda and other Police officers of District Police Doda as well as other Civil Society members have also participated. During the course of event, the COVID protocol was followed fully.
The Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Sh Mumtaz Ahmed thanked the Public and participants and all coordinating agencies especially Youth and Sports department and media fraternity for their co-operation & huge participation.
