Pakistan Rangers on Saturday violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the International Border in Samba sector of Jammu region.
BSF troops however, effectively retaliated to the firing.
Official sources here said that the Pakistani rangers violated the ceasefire along the international border of village Rajpura area of Ghagwal in District Samba.
They said that panic gripped the people due to border firing, they said adding, “Paksitan rangers violated the ceasefire in Rajpura area of Ghagwal when BSF carried out developmental work along the border,” they said.
For the last few months, they said that the BSF has been carrying the work on the border but every time Paksitan rangers violates the ceasefire to disrupt it.
“Own troops strongly retaliated to the firing,” they said adding that no loss of life or injury has been reported in the exchange of firing.
