Srinagar: National Conference Senior Leader and former member of legislative assembly from Ganderbal today visited Baba Saleh and expressed great shock and greif over the fire incident in which the residential house of Senior Journalist, Correspondent Shaherbeen Rahim Rizwan and house of Gh Nabi Khan was completely gutted and the loss of property worth rupees lakhs was damaged.
NC spokesperson in a statement said Ishfaq visited the fire victims and expressed solidarity with the families.
Jabbar has urged administration to compensate the losses to the families at the earliest. He has demanded full compensation of loss of property be sanctioned in favor of the fire victims under disaster management or any other govt grants .
Later Ishfaq visited Khalmula and expressed solidarity and sympathy with the family of truck conductor Wahid Khan who was killed in a road accident yesterday at Zojila.
Ishfaq also visited residence of injured driver.
NC leader expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic loss of precious live and conveyed his heartfelt sympathy with the bereaved family.
Mr Jabbar urged the government to provide free of cost medical treatment to the injured persons and ex-gratia to the family of deceased.
