Continuing his endeavour to provide best possible medical amenities to the citizens of Jammu, Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation alongwith Sh Surinder Choudhary councilor of ward no.29 today on 03/10/2020 inaugurated registration camp for Golden Cards under the Pradhanmantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana (PMABY) in ward no.29 and 33. Sh Gourav Sikka Incharge common services centre (CSE) as well as other prominent inhabitants of the wards were also present during the inauguration. Mayor said that it is our prime duty to serve the needy & downtrodden people & this is the scheme where crores of needy people across the country have been benefited. He asserted that Ayushaman Bharat scheme is a revolutionary decision taken by the Govt of India in the large interest of poor people of the Country. He further said this scheme is not only providing insurance cover to the people but also given them a sense of security & lacs of beneficiaries have got themselves registered under Pradhanmantri jan Arogya Yojana Ayushman Bharat and are seeking its benefits without any hindrance. He also added that people who until were left to fend for themselves have been provided with health insurance coverage of Rs five lacs per family annually. He added that the scheme provides cashless and paperless access to services for the beneficiaries at the point of services in any empanelled hospitals both in public and private sectors across the Country. He appealed to the general public to come forward and get themselves registered in the registration camps for Ayushman Bharat scheme being organized in the various wards of the City for the Convenience & welfare of the needy persons. Locals appreciated the efforts of this Mayor & councilor of ward no.29 for taking keen interest in organizing the valuable registration camp for the public of their wards
