General Secretary BJP OBC morcha J&K & Councillor Ward No.51 Rajkumar Tarkhan undertook a tour of Doongia of Gandhi Nagar constituency. 

A meeting of Doongia area was held under the Leadership of Rajkumar Tarkhan in which attention of the Honorable Advisor to Lieutenant Governor JK-UT  Jenab Farooq Khan Sahib was drawn for the quick action in work allotment of Doongia, Panj Peer Jatki road by Rajkumar Tarkhan who in his quick action, met the Muslim dominant area people on 16th June 2020.                  locals of  Doongia and Panj Peer Jatki while meeting thanked Rajkumar Tarkhan for his efforts for the upgradation of Electric Transformer, sanctioning of Road again in Committed time.
Rajkumar Tarkhan toured the area to meet the aggrieved locals which apprised him of their demands. Rajkumar Tarkhan immediately took the above mentioned issues with the concerned authorities and most importantly with the Hon’ble Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor Jenab Farooq Khan Sahib. The Transformer was upgraded within fortnight and the road worth Rupees 1.78 cr was sanctioned on 13th of July 2020  by RnB Department in SAC meeting in which only 2 roads from Jammu province was sanctioned and the road of Doongia, Panj Peer Jatki was one of them. The road will be completed in a time bound manner as assured by the Chief Engineer.
The locals today once again thanked Rajkumar Tarkhan for listening and resolving problems of the area which has been ignored by politicians as well as the authorities on many occasions. They further thanked him for developmental works which Rajkumar Tarkhan got sanctioned from the concerned authorities and for keeping a regular follow ups of the works.
The agitated locals of Doongia and Panj Peer Jatki on the occasion said that they went to every pillar and post with the demand of relief and rehabilitation of the area but the Administration kept a blind eye on the matter and they thanked Sh. Rajkumar Tarkhan for taking cognizance of their matter and taking it up with the administration for immediate help.
