Srinagar, Oct 2 (UNI) A bear was captured alive on Friday after being tranquilized before the wild animal could attack any villager or cause any damage in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, official sources said.
They said panic gripped in Kheer Bhawani in Tulmulla area in Ganderbal when some people saw a bear who had entered from nearby forest. However, the wildlife department officials were immediately informed, they said adding the officials captured the wild animal alive after being tranquilized.
Later the officials took away the wild animal to be released in the Dachigam heights, they said.
