DODA, SEPTEMBER 14: District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today Chaired the maiden project monitoring review of the key programmes and projects under implementation in the District under District and UT sector, besides Languishing Project scheme,.
At the outset, the DDC briefed the meeting in detail about the newly established Comprehensive Monitoring Mechanism in J&K by the Lieutenant Governor.
The DDC said that monitoring of key projects and programs will be a routine affair hence forth and the progress of all the departments is going to be assessed by the Apex level authorities in every month.
In this regard, the Govt of J&K UT has established separate comprehensive monitoring mechanism which will directly report to the LG about the progress of each district on monthly basis, the DDC added.
Later, he reviewed the progress of the departments, through power point presentation, as per the format devised by the Govt of J&K.
While reviewing the progress under Ayushman Bharat and immunization program particularly in Gandoh block, the DDC directed the concerned BMO to expedite the registration and to improve the progress. He directed the SDM to take daily progress report from the BMO in this regard and furnish the same to the DDC Office on weekly basis without any fail.
With regard to the Aadhaar seeding, the DDC strictly directed the entire concerned department to complete the target of 100% seeding in the District by or before 30th of September.
The DDC also directed the RDD authorities to constitute the special team which shall complete the task of 100% Aadhaar seeding for MGNREGA and PMAY scheme in stipulated time frame.
Regarding completion of B2V-1 works, the DDC directed the concerned to submit the report to his office about the blocks/panchayats , which have taken up the pending works under B2V and directed the SDMs to review the progress on daily basis.
Animal Husbandry Department was directed to expedite the progress under Artificial insemination program and conduct survey in Chinta area of Bhaderwah within 7 days for the identification of farmers who are willing to avail the benefits under IDDS scheme as the area has high potential for livestock growth.
Regarding Milk production, the DDC was informed that in comparison to the last year, the District has recorded 15 ton more production.
The DDC directed the concerned to update the increase in livestock in the district due to which the exact figure and quantity shall be verified.
While reviewing the status of land encroachments, the DDC was informed that 100% illegal entries have already been expunged from the revenue record. The DDC directed to ensure physical eviction on the ground by initiating the anti-encroachment drives across the district on priority basis.
Regarding ongoing developmental activities, the DDC reviewed the progress of GMC Doda and was informed that furnishing work is on in the main building while 40% brick work have been completed in all proposed structures and plaster work is on in the hostel building.
The DDC directed the ACR to conduct the physical inspection of the project, and pursue the matter regarding the compensation of land acquired for the approach road with the concerned authorities.
Moreover the DDC directed the SO Planning to obtain the monthly progress report of all the projects on regular basis .
The DDC also directed the Xen PWD Bhaderwah to start the construction of High Altitude Medicinal Plant at Bhaderwah as the same is being monitored on daily basis by the highest level authorities.
Taking serious note of the low performance of the ICDS department, the DDC directed the ADC to call all the CDPOs and take the detailed review of all the beneficiary schemes and set the project wise weekly targets to ensure the desired progress.
Expressing satisfaction in ensuring the 100% target achievement in KCC by the Agriculture, Sheep, Animal and Fisheries Department, the DDC directed the concerned to continue their work with same dedication and motivation.
While reviewing the status of languishing projects, the DDC directed the concerned to ensure that all the pending works are completed in the stipulated time frame.
Reviewing the pendency of PWD Doda regarding languishing projects, the DDC was informed the survey for 2 projects – the construction of Bijarni- Lal Draman road and Dhara to Gundna road, has been completed, DPR submitted and work on both the projects would be started after tendering.
