Dr Karan Singh, former Member Parliament expressed deep concern over the steep rise in the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued today, the former Member Parliament said “I have been deeply concerned and distressed at the growth of the Corona virus both in Jammu as well as in Kashmir, and the growing number of unfortunate deaths. My deep sympathy to the relatives and dear ones of the deceased.”
“I hope that the administration has ensured enough designated beds for COVID in both capitals as well as the district headquarters, along with a sufficient number of ventilators. This needs to be done on an emergency basis and it would be useful if regular statements are put out regarding the exact position on a weekly basis so that the public is kept informed,” the former Member Parliament said.
