BJP National President J. P. Nadda, National Vice-President & Prabhari J&K Avinash Rai Khanna, National General Secretary Ram Madhav, J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina and Union Minister in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh addressed a meeting of J&K BJP through virtual (digital) mode from their respective places.
Former BJP State President & Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, former State President & MP (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas, former State President & MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former State President & former Minister Sat Sharma, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, JK& BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, party Vice-President Dr. Narinder Singh, party General Secretaries Sunil Sharma (former Minister) and Dr. D.K. Manyal (former Minister) addressed the meeting through the virtual stage set at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP Office Bearers, party District Presidents and party Morcha Presidents participated in the meeting from throughout the J&K through virtual mode.
J.P. Nadda, in his address, congratulated the BJP activists from J&K for the level of dedication they have shown in serving the needy through the lockdown period. He insisted that in the lock down period the party activists from top to bottom level were activated to the maximum for they needed to serve the mankind with dedication. He said that PAN India, more than 19 Crore food packets, 5 Crore Ration Crore Ration kits, 5 Crore Face masks, sanitizers and similarly other essential commodities were distributed by BJP activists.
Nadda said that timely decisive actions by Prime Minister Narendra Modi saved the Nation from disaster that could rock India from sudden onslaught of Covid 19 Pandemic. He said that due to time window borrowed by timely Lockdowns, now we are in a better position to counter Covid 19 infection by having operational sufficient dedicated hospitals having sufficient oxygen beds, sufficient testing labs, manufacturing sufficient PPE kits etc.
Nadda also focused on the strengthening of party up to booth level. He talked of “SarvSparhi Bhajpa” reaching every individual irrespective of caste, colour, creed or sex and laid emphasis on involvement of more youth in the party. He also paid homage to Waseem Bari, Armed personnel and all others who sacrificed their lives in J&K.
Avinash Rai Khanna said that during the past few months, BJP activists have proved their real intentions to serve the Nation and the mankind. He said that it is the “Sewa Dharma” that is embedded in the mind of BJP activists, they served the needy without any care for their personal safety. He enumerated various “Sewa” programmes like Plantation, Safai, distribution of essential etc. which could be undertaken in the society near the period of historic day of 5th August.
Ravinder Raina, in his Presidential note, paid respect to Waseem Bari, his father, brother all others who laid down their lives. He appreciated the steps taken by Modi ji for tackling the menace of Covid 19. He provided the details of all the relief programmes undertaken by party activists during corona Laockdown in J&K. He said that party activists in J&K are on forefront to provide any type of assistance to the needy like distribution of dry Ration kits, food packets, face masks, hand sanitizers, helping the stranded persons through BJP helplines etc. He also provided details on current political, social and economic scenario in J&K and various programmes during the “Pakhwara from 5th August to 20th August.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the populous Nation like India was saved with timely action by Modi ji. He talked in detail about the concept of “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” by Modi ji and stressed that self-reliance doesn’t mean that we have to limit ourselves and not keep us updated or modern, rather it means that we have to advance ourselves by pushing ourselves to manufacture even small things like nuts & bolts. He said that Modi ji granted about 10% of GDP for fueling “Aatman Nirbhar Bharat” mission and helped small businesses to big ones, SCIs to MSMEs to bigger ones, from farmers to labourers.
Ashok Kaul discussed all the forthcoming party programmes with the party leaders and asked the party leaders to ensure successful programmes during the “Pakhwara from 5th August to 20th August and discussed their details minutely with the party leaders.
