Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday reached Leh to review situation on the ground. His visit comes amid the stand-off with China after the skirmish in the Galwan Valley on June 15.
The prime minister is accompanied by Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and Army chief General MM Naravane.
Twenty Indian soldiers were killed in the June 15 face-off.
