Immunity boosters playing key role in saving precious lives: Randhawa

 

Immunity boosters provided free of cost to the poor and needy people by Ministry of Ayush are playing a vital role in saving precious human lives during corona pandemic that has claimed lakhs of lives globally.

It was stated by former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, while distributing immunity boosters during a free medical camp organized at Ward No-55, Langar near Kunjwani in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment by Ministry of Ayush.

While speaking on the occasion Randhawa said that as we all know that there is no cure of novel coronavirus which has spread its tentacles across world and has claimed lakhs of precious human lives and is such circumstances strong immunity is the only key to defeat this virus. He said that even in India we have lost around 20,000 people to this virus and at the same time lakh of others have recovered following strong immunity. He said that there are many immunity boosters available in the market but their cost is too high and the poor cannot afford them. “Keeping in view the Ministry of Ayush is distributing free of cost immunity boosters to save precious human lives”, he added.

While applauding the role of the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Randhawa said that the present government is most concerned towards the deprived lot of the society and also appreciated the role of the doctors and health workers of Ayush in organizing and distributing immunity boosters among people.

Dr. Shefalli Sharma, Dr Sukhpreet Kour, Adarsh Sharma Sr. Pharmacist and other staff of Ayush Department were present on the occasion.

Other who were present include Harbans Choudhary, Bharat Bhushan Mandal Pradhan, S Hardev Singh, Mandeep Choudhary,  Jamit Raj, S.Sarabjeet Singh and Shailnder Jamwal.
