Jammu & Kashmir unit of BJP donated another One Crore rupees, the 5th installment in Prime Minister CARES Fund, total donation till now by J&K BJP is Rs 5 Crore Rupees, since the start of Corona Lockdown.
Earlier on April 10th, BJP contributed 1 Crore rupees in PM CARES Fund, on 20th of April BJP contributed another 1 Crore to the PM CARES Fund through State Bank of India, on 27th of April BJP Contributed more 1 Crore in PM CARES Fund and on 13th of May BJP Contributed further 1 Crore in PM CARES Fund. Today, on 15th of June J&K BJP contributed another 1 Crore rupees to PM CARES Fund by handing over the Cheques worth Rupees 1 Crore to the Chairman J&K Bank R. K. Chibber.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina along with BJP General Secretary Sunil Sharma, BJP General Secretary Dr. Devindar Kumar Manyal and President BJP Kissan Morcha Omi Khajuria handed over the cheques of worth Rs. 1 Crore to R. K. Chibber, Chairman J&K Bank, Zonal Headquarter, Bahu Plaza Jammu.
As informed, these donations have been received from the former BJP MLAs, MLCs, BJP J&K office bearers, District Presidents, District Office Bearers, Mandal Presidents, Mandal Office Bearers, J&K Government Employees, Businessmen and common citizens including students, men, women and children.
Ravinder Raina, while handing over the cheques to the Chairman, J&K Bank, said that he is very thankful to all the party leaders, supporters and sympathizers for this liberal funding. He said that it is a proud moment of J&K BJP that it has made a collection of 5 Crore rupees till now to donate it to PM CARES Fund, which will strengthen the fight against Corona Pandemic.
Raina also appreciated the role of J&K Bank and said that J&K Bank employees have worked hard to cater to the needs of customers in these difficult times. He said that society is indebted to every Corona warrior as they have toiled hard to keep the essential services running despite facing hardships.
J&K Bank Chairman R K Chibber acknowledged the noble gesture by BJP leaders and said that every capable person must contribute to the PM CARES Fund and J&K Relief fund.
