BJP welcomes the epoch making decision of Administrative Council regarding SRO-202

In a press release issued here Bharatiya Janata Party has profusely welcomed the historic decision of the Administrative Council headed by the Honourable LG in which it has decided to do away with SRO 202 for fresh appointments (10000 newly announced vacancies under rapid recruitment process) and reduce the probation period of old appointees from 5 to 2 years. It is a big leap towards employee welfare said Ravinder Raina, President JK UT.

Taking the opposition to task Brig Veteran Anil Gupta, Spokesperson said that unlike them BJP believes in walking the talk. BJP has always worked for the betterment of the youth and cared for the employees. It may be recalled that Dr Jitendra Singh, MOS (IC) DONER, MOS Department of Personnel Affairs, Grievances and Pensions and MOS (PMO) while addressing the inaugural ceremony event of CAT Jammu had said that SRO-202 was not compatible with the new scheme of things and therefore, needs to be revisited. He also cautioned the opposition to avoid politics on the issue since it involved the future of our youth. However, the opposition kept playing politics by exploiting the sentiments of the youth through provocative statements regretted Brig Gupta.

BJP leadership has been working since long for the review of SRO-202. Many deputations led by the party President Ravinder Raina, Ashok Kaul, Gen Secy (org) had met the LG and other officials in connection with the same. Unlike the opposition which made only hollow noises BJP had promised the youth that the SRO would be reviewed and was working diligently towards that. It had advised the youth to have patience and exercise restraint. BJP is happy to inform the youth that it has fulfilled its promise and once again assured them that the only party on which they could depend on and the party that cares for their sentiments and needs is the BJP. “BJP requests the youth and also cautions them to not to get carried away by the gullible propaganda of the opposition and their sweet talk which is totally hollow and meant only to gain media lime light,” stated Brig Gupta.

Since the opposition had no issue to raise, it launched a hostile campaign against the digital Jan Samvad Rally held by BJP on Sunday which among others was addressed by the RakshaMantriRajnath Singh. The opposition needs to know that it was the Modi government which after coming to power in 2014 had begun the tradition of presenting to the nation its annual report card by reaching to the people through public meetings held across the length and breadth of the country. Unfortunately, the first year of Modi 2.0 was marred with Covid thus preventing the holding of public rallies. But the BJP to continue the tradition and keep up the promise decided to organise digital Jan Samvad Rallies. Unlike the opposition parties, which visit the people only at the time of elections, BJP believes in remaining in constant touch with the public so that its leaders and workers remain glued to the ground asserted Brig Gupta.

The review of SRO-202 is just the beginning of the slew of people friendly measures which are likely to be announced in the near future stated the press release.
