Kanak Mandi Traders Association donated Rs 1.31 lakh in favour of the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund to fight against coronavirus pandemic.
Anoop Mittal President KMTA handed over the cheque to J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina& Sh.Ashok koul BJP Gen Secy Organisational former Jammu East MLA SH. Rajesh Gupta,in the presence of Dy.Mayor Smt.Purnima Sharma BJP State Executive Member Sh.Sanjay Mahey and BJP Distt.Press Secy Manav Mahajan at BJP Headquarters here on Friday.
Ravinder Raina appreciated the noble gesture shown by the Kanak Mandi Traders Association being the prominent Association of the Union Territory and said that society is indebted to such noble acts, as the whole world is reeling under the pressure to combat ill effects of COVID-19 pandemic. He said that this contribution means a lot in this valuable time and requested others to follow the same suit. He asserted that such contribution will strengthen the effort of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to combat the ill effects of corona Pandemic.
Ashok koul said that trouble has erupted across the world due to corona spread and it is the duty of every person to pay back to the society. In these days, every capable person must contribute according to his or her strength, he added.

Rajesh Gupta thanked all the donors for liberal funding to the PM CARES Fund on the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that their contribution will strengthen the hands of PM Modi in the fight against Corona Pandemic.
Purnima Sharma praised the KMTA as they are continuously putting their best efforts to donate to the PM CARES Fund and at the same time they are encouraging others from the society to do the same.
