General Administration Department (GAD) Monday deployed seven other senior officials at Jammu and Katra railways stations following the decision to allow partial resumption of train services.
As per an order, Principal Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring and Information Department, Rohit Kansal; Additional Secretary, Finance Department/Chief Executive Officer, ERA, Syed Abid Rasheed; Joint Director Handloom, Jammu, Pardeep Singh Manhas; Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes, Recovery, Jammu Headquartered at Jammu, Rajinder Singh; Chief Executive Officer, Jammu Urban Development Agency, Devinder Singh Bahu; Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Ramesh Kumar and Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, Hirdesh Kumar have been deployed at Katra railways station.
These officers have been deployed with a purpose to ensure COVID19 mitigation efforts at the railway stations in view of resumption of railway services in the country.
