Randhawa hails public cooperation in observing lockdown

Former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, has hailed the cooperation of the people in observing lockdown announced by the government to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Randhawa said this while distributing ration kits and masks among the people at various places of Gandhi Nagar assembly segment which includes Shanti Nagar, GTB Nagar, Model Town, Peer Baba Mohalla, Govindpura and other areas. While speaking on the occasion Randhawa said that the people trust Prime Minister Narendra Modi and on his appeal the people of Jammu have observed lockdown in a very disciplined and peaceful manner. He said that despite sufferings due to the lockdown people have not come out to make the purpose of the lockdown a grand success.

He said that it was due to their cooperation that Jammu has witnessed just few cases and have succeeded in containing the spread of the strain that has claimed around 3 lakh lives globally. He further assured the public that BJP is committed to provide all possible assistance to the most deserving lot of the society. He said that no one will be left to die of hunger and will continue his endeavor to provide all sort of help to the needy people as long as the lockdown is fully lifted and people resumes to normal life again.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Ch. Vikram Randhawa for reaching out to them in the most toughest time of the lifetime. Randhawa ensured proper social distancing while distributing ration and masks among people. He also urged upon the public to maintain social distancing and make it as a part of life in the coming future also to eradicate coronavirus from the country.
