Following the extension of lockdown across India, the government here on Tuesday said all education institutions across Jammu and Kashmir will continue to remain closed.
Principal Secretary to government Rohit Kansal in a tweet said that the education institutions will remain closed till further orders.
“Schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions will continue to be closed. Details including dates to follow @diprjk,” Kansal Twitted.
The government however did not mention the time period of closure of educational institutions.
Earlier the administration had ordered closure if all education sector till March-31, However, after the central government extended the lockdown till May-3, the J&K government also extended closure of all educational institutions.
