Authorities have completely sealed ‘Red Zone’ areas to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the summer capital, Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir valley, where strict restrictions on movement and assembly of people continued for the 26th day on Tuesday.
Security forces have sealed off main roads in most places in the Valley and erected barriers at several other places to check the movement of the people and to enforce the lockdown, officials said.
People were being asked to stay indoors even during evening hours when they usually come outside. Restrictions were imposed on inter-district movement and strict regulation of movement passes was being ensured. Only one person per pass was being allowed to move strictly between his residence and place of work, officials said.
