District Development Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria today inaugurated free medical aid counter cum awareness camp organized by Department of Indian System of Medicines (AYUSH) here at DC office complex, Samba.
DDC exhorted upon all the District Officers to spread the efficacy of Indian System of Medicines in these times of pandemic Covid-19 among all the staff working at vulnerable spots.
DDC said that medicines provided by AYUSH offered a great help in reduction of respiratory disorders, increasing immune system besides also improves overall strength and vitality of humans. He appealed to the public in general and staff deployed in coronavirus duties to use medicines of AYUSH and increase immune system.
DDC directed the nodal officer ISM District Samba, Dr. Vandana to carry out free medical aids cum awareness camps for 2-3 days at each major spots in the district including government offices, quarantine centres, police posts and other majors spots. He laid emphasis upon Sarpanches and Panches in distributing door to door AYUSH medicines to general public.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Gupta, Chief Medical Officer, Rajinder Samyal, District Information Officer, Ajay Sharma, Medical Officer ISM Dr. Nikhil Mahajan besides other District Officer and staff of ISM and other district offices were also present on the occasion.
