J&K BJP led by its President Ravinder Raina, called for a successful “Janata Curfew” on Sunday, 22nd March, from 7 AM to 9 PM in Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Ravinder Raina, was also accompanied by former party State President Sat Sharma, party J&K General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta and party J&K General Secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the media persons, made an appeal to people across J&K to follow the “Janata Curfew” on Sunday, 22nd March, from 7 AM to 9 PM. He urged people not to move out of their homes on 22nd March and asked all the Civil society and various organizations encourage citizens to follow “Janata Curfew” and stay inside their homes. He termed this is as part of major tactic to stop spread of Viral outbreak by breaking the chain of cross infection.
Raina, also asked the masses to aware all the persons in their contacts and surroundings about ‘Janata Curfew’ and various advisories to prevent spreading of Covid 19 (Corona Virus). He also appealed to show their appreciation to various Medical/Paramedical/ Cleaning staff by standing in the balconies at 5 PM on 22nd March and clap for five minutes to express gratitude to such people.
Meanwhile, former MLA from Gurez, Faqir Mohd. Khan joined BJP. Senior Congress leaders from Arnas Sansar Singh Sarpanch (Sarpanch), Sunny Sharma (Youth block President) and Umesh Singh (Senior Congress leader) along with Sunil Sharma from Reasi also joined BJP.
Later, Ravinder Raina, also welcomed former MLA into the BJP and said that Sheena community has always remained a patriotic community and the region will be developed aggressively now. He also appreciated new entrants from Arnia and Reasi for their wise decision to join BJP. He said that due to Corona Virus outbreak only symbolic joining has been done, but soon after the things get eased out, there will be massive felicitation programmes.
Faqir Mohd. Khan, said that the people of Gurez are very optimistic of PM Modi’s policies. He said that Gurez lacked many amenities till now but he is assured that all issues will be resolved under BJP govt. He claimed that BJP will win Gurez Assembly seat with great margin.
