Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir President Ravinder Raina vehemently thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, J&K Lieutenant Governor Girish Chander Murmu and Union MoS PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh for rolling out free health insurance to all residents of UT under J&K Universal Health Scheme.
Ravinder Raina was accompanied by J&K BJP General Secretary Dr. D. K. Manyal (former Minister), J&K BJP General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta (former MLC), J&K BJP Media Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and J&K BJP Kissan Morcha President Omi Khajuria, while interacting with media persons at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Ravinder Raina, said that PM Modi, HM Amit shah, LG Murmu and Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh have given a never before gift to the populace of J&K, by rolling out free health insurance to all residents of UT under J&K Universal Health Scheme.
This Universal Health Insurance scheme will prove to a boon and life saver for lakhs of people who could not earlier afford quality medical facilities due to lack of money, Raina said and added that now, everyone as the resident of J&K can access timely life saving services with the help of new policy.
Raina, said that PMJAY provided health insurance benefit to more than 30 lakh people in erstwhile J&K State, under which till now more than 5 lakh J&K residents have already taken benefit and now extending the benefit of health insurance to more than 1 Crore people of J&K, confirms dedication of Modi government towards the masses.
Raina, termed the decision as historic and stressed that Modi govt. has proved that it follows “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas and Sabka Vishwaas” principle. As a new milestone has been achieved in health sector benefitting more than 1 crore people under the present dispensation of Modi government, we are set to receive more gifts under the Modi govt., Raina said.
Raina, thanked Modi govt. for provision of more than 1 lakh Crore rupees in the budget for development of J&K which will aid the further development of J&K. He said that 50000 jobs for the J&K youth, emphasis on rural development, policies for electricity, PHE, PWD, health sector etc. could not be possible without liberal economic package by Modi govt.
