BAHU FORT DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE FORMED TRUST FOR SOCIAL CAUSE & TO PROTECT HISTORICAL MONUMNETS AND SHRINES

Jammu, Mar 13: Bahu Fort Development Committee Trust (Regd.) held its first trustee meeting under the Chairmanship of Kr. Rajeev Charak after forming the trust which is the expansion of the Bahu Fort Development committee that was working since 1998 for the welfare and development of Mata Bawe Wali Shrine as well as Bahu Fort area.

Advocate Ishant Gupta Vice Chairman/Trustee commenced the meet with introductory session and said that now we have expanded the working of our committee by forming it as a trust and we will work of various social issues of Jammu Province. He introduced all the trustees and their respective roles which includes Kr. Rajeev Charak as Chairman of trust, Advocate Varun Gupta as Legal Advisor, Raghav Mahajan as Secretary, Ishant Mahajan as President Duggar Sahayata Group, Ankush Khajuria as Treasurer and Raghunandan Singh Charak as Publicity Secretary. He added that Duggar Sayata Group will be a unit of our trust with objective to help poor/orphan girls for their marriage. He also announced that we will launch membership drive from 15th of March 2020 and further details will be share on 14TH of March 2020 through medium of Press Conference or issue of Press Release and social media.

Kr. Rajeev Charak presided over the meeting and said that Bahu Fort is the origin of Dogra Dynasty as it was constructed by Raja Bahu Lochan around 3000 years ago and after that other monuments were built by our dogra rulers but now everyone can notice that all our historical monuments are under great misery and being continuously tempered and so for their protection and development, our trust was constituted and we will work to preserve our historical monuments. He also appealed the archaeological department to take a serious action against all those persons who have destroyed our historical monuments and shrines. He further added that our today’s generation is completely unaware of our Dogra history as well as state’s geography and the main reason behind this is our education system in schools as there was no subject or academic sessions for students introduced by state board that could teach students about the history. Charak concluded his speech by saying that the prime objective of our trust is to make sure all the shrines and temples in Jammu are under one umbrella and that is formation of shrine board over all the major temples of Jammu as we are very close to achieve our long awaited demand for the constitution of Shrine board for Mata Bawe Wali Temple. He added that formation of shrine board will change the scenario of development of Jammu as it will open new doors for the employment of the youth of the state, all the revenue generated from the temples will be used for the welfare and to promote religious tourism.

Advocate Varun Gupta speaks and briefed all the legal and important clauses and points of the trust deed before the trustees. Ishant Mahajan discussed about the formation of teams and future plans and programs for the smooth running of Duggar Sahayata Group a unit of our trust with objective to help poor/orphan girls for their marriage. Ankush Khajuria discussed about the plans to generate funds for the smooth functioning of trust. Raghunandan Singh Charak also speaks about the publicity of trust on social sites and creates awareness among the public about the working of trust. Raghav Mahajan interacted with media persons and concluded the meeting by extending vote of thanks to all the trustees for attending the meeting.
