On the instructions of Ms. Avny Lavasa, IAS Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation & under supervision of Sh. Ashish Kumar Gupta, KAS Joint Commissioner (Adm.), the enforcement staff led by Chief Enforcement Officer, Enforcement Officer demolished three no’s of shops owned by Ifthikar Hussain S/o. Nisar Hussain & Kalu Choudhary S/o Abdullaha Choudhary at Channi Rama which have been built unauthorisdely without the permission of Jammu Municipal Corporation. The action has been taken under section 7(3) of J&K control of building separation Act 1988 with the active assistance & Co-operation provided by Station House Officer Bahu Fort & Incharge Police Post Narwal, Jammu.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation requests the general public to refrain from constructing illegal constructions to avoid penal action which may lead to sealing/demolition of illegal constructions and always get your Building plans approved by BOCA of JMC.
