Two youth were killed and another was injured in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu national highway in south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Tuesday.
A police official told UNI that a speeding vehicle turned turtle after losing control at Sangam on the highway in Anantnag on Tuesday. “Three persons, onboard the vehicle, were injured in the accident,” he said, adding the wounded were immediately taken to a hospital.
He said two of the three injured were declared brought dead. “The deceased were identified as Syed Ali and Imad Ullah Din, both residents of Hawal in downtown,” he said.
Meanwhile, he said Danish Ahmad who was critically injured was referred to a hospital in Srinagar. “After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their relatives for last rites.
