Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sushma Chauhan today chaired a meeting of Agriculture Department and representatives of all the Banks of all District, Chief Agriculture Officer Jammu, Lead Bank Officer, Sub Divisional Agriculture Officers and representatives of all Banks were present in the meeting.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu stressed upon all the Stake Holders to ensure 100% KCC saturation of all farmers by March 30, 2020. Targets were given to Agriculture department as well as Bank for meeting the deadlines. It was also decided that the list of 84228 farmers who have been already disbursed the first instalment of PM KISAN, will be provided to the Banks, who will further filter the farmers who have already availed KCC Card and submit their response by February 19, 2020. Agriculture Department will mobilize their staff for saturating the remaining left out farmers from PM KISAN, who have not availed KCC facility and submit their KCC forms to Banks by February 28, 2020 for processing by the Bank. Banks were further given a target for sanctioning these cases by March 15, 2020.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu also desired to have list from Banks of those KCC holders, who have yet not availed any benefit of KCC and provide the list to agriculture department by February 19, 2020 and the agriculture department will mobilize their staff for motivating these farmers to avail KCC facility.
The left out target over and above 84228 will be covered by March 30, 2020 to achieve 100% KCC saturation in the district. Progress in this regard will be reviewed by DC on February 29, 2020.
